Mark Kadin

FOUNDER/Executive PRODUCER

Mark Kadin is the founder of MAK Pictures. He started the company in 2011 to begin production on A&E’s Cajun Justice, and after several seasons of the hit series, MAK Pictures has now produced over 250 hours of content for various networks and OTTs.    

Mark has worked in unscripted television for almost 20-years, and prior to starting MAK, he was a producer for numerous broadcast networks and cable outlets. He was Executive Producer on critically-acclaimed hit shows such as National Geographic’s Known Universe, FX’s 30 Days, and Animal Planet’s IPredator. In 2009, Mark earned an Emmy for his work as Executive Producer and Showrunner of Fox Sports’ Sport Science.   

Mark graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Journalism, and after a brief stint as a professional baseball player, he began his career as a local on-air reporter in Lexington, KY. However, within two years, he found his true niche in the business on the other side of the camera.

When not at the office or catering to the needs of the office mascot, Abby, Mark can be found on the golf course (where his handicap fluctuates between a 1 and a 5 depending on how many shows are in production—luckily, he’s currently at a 5).
